Biographical note

James Bieman received a B.S. (1971) in chemical engineering from Wayne State University, an M.P.P. (1973) from University of Michigan, and an M.S. (1981) and Ph.D. (1984) in computer science from University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He joined the faculty at Iowa State University as an Assistant Professor (1984-1989). He then accepted a position as an Associate Professor (1989-2002) in Computer Science at Colorado State University. In 2002, Dr. Bieman was promoted to full Professor at Colorado State.

 

Collection description

This collection (1984-1988) contains Dr. Bieman's biographical information, memos, and papers and research proposals regarding computer software engineering from his time at Iowa State University.
