Biographical note

Tracy Regan was born December 22, 1979 in Davenport, Iowa. She received her high school diploma (1998) from North Scott High School in Eldridge, Iowa. She attended Iowa State University and graduated with a B.S. (2003) in mechanical engineering. While at Iowa State, Regan participated in numerous activities and associations including the Association of Women in Science (AWIS), Mechanical Engineering Learning Community, Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Women in Science and Engineering (WISE), Intramural Sports, Dance Marathon, Girls Engaged in Math and Science (GEMS) Volunteer, and the Conversational English Program. She was the Linden (Residence Hall) Programming Board President, the Brandt Floor (Linden Residence Hall) Treasurer and Social Chair, E-Week Ambassador, and a judge for the Iowa State University Science Fair. She worked as an engineering intern (2002) for Boston Scientific, a medical device company in Maple Grove, Minnesota.

 

Collection description

This collection (1989-2003) contains documents pertaining to the high school and college career of a female engineering student at Iowa State University. The papers include class notes, correspondence, exams and homework assignments, laboratory manuals, news clippings, presentations, report cards, schedules, scholarship applications, student planners, and yearbooks.
