Historical note
Established in 1964, the Officer Education Committee was created to advise the administration and the Faculty on issues relating to the ROTC program. The Committee functioned as a link between the Officer Education Program and the other areas of the University. The Committee examined matters such as qualifications of officer education faculty members, enrollment trends in officer education, and the relationship of officer education to other educational programs of the University. |
Collection description
The collection (1970-1984, n.d.) contains correspondence, memoranda, meeting minutes and brochures for the Officer Education Committee. The records also include reports for the committee on the function of the committee and Army ROTC. |
