Biographical note

Amelia Madsen Kemper was born September 2, 1902, in Salix, Iowa. She graduated from Iowa State College (University) with a B.S. (1928) in Home Economics. She was a member of Kappa Phi, the Quill Literary Society, and the Home Economics Club.

 

Collection description

This collection (1923-1933) contains college memorabilia, College of Home Economics programs and publications, a cookbook, correspondence, and scripts for "Homemakers' Half Hour," a radio program that aired on WOI Radio. The college memorabilia includes a photograph, programs, clippings, and student handbooks.
