Biographical note
Originally from Granger, Iowa, August Beck received a two-year non-collegiate agriculture course certificate from Iowa State College (University) in 1917. Although he received training to be a farmer, Beck became a minister. He passed away at the age of 58. |

The collection contains course notes and papers from a former Iowa State student. Documents describe courses in animal husbandry, agricultural engineering, horticulture, farm management, and woodshop. |
