Historical note
Men's Tennis at Iowa State began in 1894 when the team began playing inter-collegiate teams from around the state. During the early years, the team did not have a formal coach. Instead, team captains were selected and they organized practices for the team. The first official head coach was Fred Fenton (1926). Following the 1994 Tennis season, the Athletic Department eliminated the program due to budget cuts. Coaches
