In 1980, the Department of Industrial Administration became the Iowa State University School of Business Administration; the school changed its name to the College of Business Administration in 1984. Proposals for a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) program began in 1981. The College of Business Administration admitted the first students to its new Masters in Business Administration (MBA) program in 1985. In 1991, the college was renamed the College of Business. The Iowa State University College of Business offers graduate programs leading toward an MBA, a Master of Accounting (MACC), a Master of Science in Information Systems (MS-IS), a Master of Science in Information Assurance (MS-INFS), and a Master of Science in Industrial Relations (MS-IR). |
