Thomas and Thomas was a law
firm in Traer, Tama County, Iowa. The firm was formed in 1909 by
two brothers, Arthur Thomas (1869-1956) and B. F. Thomas
(1877-1959).
In 1914, the
Cizek Brothers Manufacturing Company developed a grain-unloading
mechanism used in connection with a portable elevator adapted to
convey the dumped grain to a crib or storage facility. The company
employed Thomas and Thomas to sell this invention to various
agriculture machinery manufacturers. |
