Collection description
|
This
collection (1899-1930s, n.d.) includes a photograph album and some
basic information on the relatives of Otto and Lottie (Kelling)
Block. Portraits of family members included in the album are: John
Kelling and his wife (parents of Lottie M. Kelling); Claus and Metta
Block (parents of Otto Block); Otto and his brothers, Claus and
Frank; George, John, and Jim Kelling (probably brothers of Lottie);
Jim Block (Lottie's brother) with his wife, Mabel, and their child.
Many other portraits of family members and children are
unidentified, or their relationship to the Block family is unknown.
Also included in the album is a funeral announcement for Mary J.
Kelling (probably mother of Lottie) who died 25 July 1901. Most of
the portraits were likely taken sometime around the year 1899 when
Otto and Lottie were married. |
