Historical note

Women Involved in Farm Economics (WIFE), a national organization devoted to agriculture, was founded in 1976. The group has been involved with lobbying for agricultural issues at the state and national levels, establishing communication among farm women throughout the United States, and educating women about legislative issues and economic needs.

 

Collection description

This collection (1984-1986, undated) includes a flyer describing the accomplishments of WIFE and a newspaper clipping discussing the group's activities. The remainder of the collection consists of seven issues of WIFE Line, the organization's newsletter, which details meetings and projects.
