Omaha the Cat Dancer is an underground comic created by Reed Waller and Kate Worley. It is a comic for adults about the life and loves of an exotic dancer, Omaha, and her friends in a Midwestern city. The characters are animals with graphic human sexual characteristics. The story line is sexually explicit. The series was copyrighted in 1984, and the first issue was published in 1986. This collection (1980s-1995, undated) contains correspondence relating to the acquisition of the material and a twelve-inch by nineteen-inch ink on paper drawing from Omaha the Cat Dancer series. (The ink on paper drawing in this collection is explicit, and may be offensive to some patrons.) |
