Collection description

This collection (1899-1974, undated) contains the sheet music of Iowa musicians and songs about Iowa. Music includes "Iowa: Out Where the West Begins" (words and music by Myrtle Hickson-Walker), "That Dear Old School at Ames," (words and Music by Frank L. Fleishman), "Iowa Corn Song" (music by Edward Riley and George Botsford), "Fight Ames Fight" (words and Music by Ed Chenette), and "Iowa -'Beautiful Land'" (music by H. M. Towner). Some of the music may not be by Iowa musicians.
