Collection description
This collection (1909-1918, undated) contains two handwritten recipe books. The first book is titled "Webster's Composition". This book mainly consists of handwritten dessert recipes as well as several newspaper articles that include recipes. This recipe book also has a few lists of grocery expenses. The second recipe book is titled "This Is It". This book contains equal amounts of handwritten recipes and lists of expenses. The author of these recipe books is unknown but the back cover of the second book contains the penciled signature of Mrs. Clyde Peterson of Council Bluffs, Iowa. |
