Abstract
Common Threads was a small business created and run by Victoria Walch, based in Iowa City, Iowa, beginning in 1993. She produced the Stitcher's Pocket Inventory, a small booklet that helped needleworkers keep track of the fiber and notions they owned. Update packs and expansion packs were added over the years, as well as a booklet that tracked needlepoint patterns. The business was sold in 2000. This collection contains correspondence, sales information, documents related to the running of the business, and examples of the Stitcher's Pocket Inventory for each year it was produced. |
