Abstract
The American Agricultural Marketing Association (AAMA) is an affiliate of the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF), which acts as a platform for voicing the concerns of farmers. AAMA’s Broiler Program focused on strategies for marketing chicken. The donor, A. William Jasper, worked for the AFBF and AAMA for twenty-three years, primarily as the Director of AFBF’s Poultry Department and of AAMA’s Poultry Division. He was also the Secretary for Market Development and Research and Director of the Marketing Division. This collection (1964-1976, undated) includes correspondence, meeting minutes, newsletters, publications, and other resource material. The collection documents the work of the Broiler Program and contains information about membership, programs, and the poultry industry. |
